Interior Design Degree at Portland Community College

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

Hidden inside a living room is the potential for calmness. Hidden inside a large corporate meeting room is the opportunity for warmth and productivity— if accentuated by light exposure, complementary colors, and space constraints. Interior designers must be able to see what’s hidden inside a space to capitalize on its unique features: they must see which natural features may be emphasized or enhanced. But that’s not all.

Interior designers specialize in creating uniquely defined ambiences that cater to the spatial needs and functional requirements, using a diverse set of skills. In PCC’s Interior Design program, we offer you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in interior design in order to diversify and strengthen your skills.
