Professional Opportunities
All the training in Industrial Design can have a bearing on all the design of and work with 3D space. Most of our students have gone on to work for design companies, or design departments of companies. Some have moved up the corporate ladder, while others start up their own business. Students of Industrial Design may choose from a wide range of opportunities in the design field.

Advice when considering this major
Designers are a part of the silent majority that keeps a low profile. Designers are part of history and live with changes in history, instead of taking upon themselves to make changes. There is no need to either underestimate or overestimate the role of designers. However, designing capacity comes only after designers complete a lengthy and arduous training. In reality, designers may have to be content with meager wages that are not commensurate with the amount of work they put in. Therefore, you need to have conviction of the value of what you are doing and enjoy the process of learning, although training can be quite demanding.
