BA Hons Product Design Sustainable Futures at University College For The Creative Arts
Product Design is a creative and innovative subject, combining new and exciting ideas with technologies for every day life.
Product designers are international in their approach and learn to design specific product applications to respond to our changing everyday world. The product design process and practice engages with the development of prototypes and working examples, which travel through various aspects of research and development, from initial sketches through to the realistic models and test experiments, including interaction design and research into sustainable materials and business models. Ultimately, this leads to the design specification for both high volume manufactured consumer products or for more individual designer one-off products.
This course teaches you the body of skills, knowledge and experience you’ll need to become a professional designer who can create innovative and lasting products for many kinds of people in many parts of the world.
